The Tamron 18-270 PZD lens is a new lens that requires a lot of practices to use. I personally am not familiar with a super zoom lens since I always use a prime lens. When I first got this lens, I noticed that it is very heavy. It is far heavier than any prime lens that I have ever used. If you never use a prime lens before, I suggest you look at the excellent Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens. Back to this lens. After using it for several shots, I immediately noticed that it is not as sharp as the prime lenses which is to be expected. Now, in terms of convenience though, I’d say this lens is excellent. This lens has replaced my bag of lenses and it is a joy to carry during vacation. With this lens, you will never miss an important shot whatsoever. You should try this lens.

Although it is an excellent lens, any decent Tokina 11-16 Canon review should also mention its negative qualities. When you buy an 11-16 lens you know that it does not have a very wide range. It is a wide-angle camera, so you will not be able to zoom in much, if you want something like that you might rather want to consider the Canon 10-22mm, which might be a better lens to walk around with. Having said that this is a great lens for those that want to shoot wide angle without getting fish eye results. One thing is for sure, if you are not used to shooting with a lens of this type it is going to be a bit of a learning curve. While this is not necessarily a negative aspect it will definitely influence your photo quality as you first have to get the hang of how to operate the lens.
